I hope everyone is ready for another themed episode tonight, because it's time for the Family Edition!
Who wouldn't want to see a member of their family get smacked around on the Sucker Punch Wall? I know I'd love to see my sister try her luck on the Qualifier. (Of course I'd be laughing -- I mean, cheering her on from the sidelines). We have all kinds of teams -- brother/sister, father/son, mother/daughter, twin brothers, father/daughter... and they all enjoyed seeing their family members 'Wipeout' on our course.
Let me introduce you to our father and son team from Ancaster, ON -- John Rasmussen and John Rasmussen Jr. I know them as John 1.0 and John 2.0 and they are such sweethearts. Both do triathlons and have absolutely no fat on them whatsoever. In fact, John 2.0 has been doing triathlons since he was 9 years old... I didn't even know what a triathlon was at the age of 9! If I was a competitor, I'd see them as a big threat.
Another great team is Kelly Bradley and her mother Lori from Essex, ON. They were so cute together and got along more like sisters than mother and daughter. I thought it was so sweet that Kelly said her Mom is her biggest hero. (Awww!)
Although there are so many other great families on tonights show, I'm going to let you meet them tonight on the show. I will, however, give you a little spoiler to whet your appetite: I hit on someone and get shut down horribly! I mean, to the point where I might be embarrassed to go outside after this episode airs. I really liked him, too. Oh well -- there's other fish in the sea.
Hope you enjoy tonight's episode!
Until next week, (aww that's the last time I get to say that! Only one more blog to go)
